SS27 FILIPE

A room full of people can disappear, a film can keep playing without being watched, and hours can pass without either person noticing, until the world becomes unexpectedly small and the only certainty is wanting to stay exactly where you are, beside someone who has somehow made everything else feel further away.

Some memories return first through atmosphere. The temperature of a night. The light on someone’s face. The sound of the ocean close enough to hear but not to see. A body moving through the water until distance turns it into little more than a shape. Dancing without music. Looking up at the same sky and believing, without needing to say it, that something important has begun.

Years later, those details still carry their own language. Not because they need to be preserved exactly as they happened, but because certain feelings change the way we remember colour, touch, proportion, closeness and time.

For FILIPE, that personal archive moved back to the table through images, fabric, drawings and details collected over time. None of them are used to recreate what happened. They are interpreted, reduced and transformed until memory finds another form.

The collection translates that language into tailoring, movement, fabric and light, allowing the feeling inside it to become something new.
